Led by Paula Hardy, MS, NDTR
Paula's path into functional wellness started with her own chronic illness: years of symptoms that standard care could explain but not resolve. It's why this practice exists.
Her story
I'm Paula Hardy, a Functional Nutritionist with a Master's Degree in Nutrition and Functional Medicine, dedicated to helping individuals uncover and address the root causes of their health concerns through personalized, evidence-informed nutrition and lifestyle strategies.
My practice is deeply rooted in both professional training and lived experience. Having personally navigated genetic methylation challenges, multiple food allergies, severe IBS, hypothyroidism, PCOS, fibromyalgia, eczema, MCAS (Mast Cell Activation Syndrome), ADHD, and numerous other complex health conditions, I understand firsthand the frustration, confusion, and resilience that can accompany a chronic health journey.
These experiences have shaped my compassionate, whole-person approach to care and strengthened my commitment to helping others find answers, restore balance, and achieve lasting wellness.
Whether you are seeking support for digestive issues, sex or thyroid hormone imbalances, autoimmune conditions, chronic inflammation, fatigue, weight concerns, or overall health optimization, I work collaboratively with you to create a customized plan that honors your unique biology, lifestyle, and goals. I look forward to partnering with you on your journey toward better health and vitality.
The philosophy
Your body is wonderfully interconnected.
When one system is out of balance, it often influences many others.
Through personalized nutrition, lifestyle guidance, advanced wellness testing when appropriate, and evidence-informed recommendations, we work together to uncover the factors influencing your health and create a plan designed specifically for you.
Because lasting wellness isn't about chasing symptoms. It's about understanding the whole person.
All functional testing is done to test function and not for diagnostic purposes. Paula does not diagnose or prescribe.

Why nutrition, products, and gardening are one practice
Functional wellness is the organizing philosophy here. Everything else is an expression of it, not a separate business.
- NutritionRoot-cause, whole-person nutrition coaching: the primary practice.
- ProductsSmall-batch soap, body butter, and herb blends, grown from the same food-as-medicine thinking.
- GardeningBecause for Paula, food as medicine starts in the soil, not the pantry.
Scope of practice
Paula Hardy is not a licensed physician. This practice is educational and supportive. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, and it is not a substitute for care from your doctor.
Functional testing, when used, is done to test function, not to diagnose. Supplement guidance stays within what's available through Fullscript. When something is beyond scope, the honest answer is a referral out, not an attempt to cover it anyway.
Disclosure: Paula earns a commission on products purchased through her Fullscript dispensary.
You're expected to maintain concurrent care with your primary care provider throughout. If you're experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room, not this practice.
