Where it starts.
For Paula, food as medicine starts in the soil, not the pantry. One-on-one gardening consultations across the Greater Phoenix Area, Arizona: the same root-cause thinking that shapes the nutrition practice, applied to what's growing in your own yard.
Is this available where you are?
Consultations are available throughout Maricopa County, Arizona.
Sessions can be virtual or in person, decided together based on what your garden actually needs. An in-person visit more than 30 miles from Paula's business address carries a $50 travel charge.
What we'll work on together
- Plant selection
- Troubleshooting existing gardens
- Planning new gardens
- Seasonal guidance
- Indoor and outdoor gardening
- Raised-bed vs. in-ground decisions
A consultation can be a single visit or the start of ongoing help as your garden develops.
What to expect
A consultation is a real, one-on-one conversation about your specific space, not a generic plant list.
Every consultation moves through three stages: a first look at your garden, in person or online; planning and design; and a final walkthrough of the recommendations. Time is billed by the hour, so the total depends on your garden.
Please reschedule or cancel at least 24 hours before your session. A $50 no-show fee applies to any session missed without notice.
From the garden itself
