  • Who we are

    This Privacy Policy covers thehardynutritionist.com, operated by The Hardy Nutritionist, LLC. If you have a question about this policy or your information, contact TheHardyNutritionist@gmail.com.

  • Information we collect

    There are two kinds. First, what you choose to submit: the contact form collects your name, email, and message, and the gardening consultation form collects your name, email, preferred format (online or in person), garden type, anticipated session length, and, optionally, your city and any notes you add. Both forms include a hidden field used only to catch automated spam; a real visitor never sees or fills it. Second, basic usage data collected automatically by Google Analytics, described under "Analytics" below. This site has no user accounts, and does not run advertising scripts.

  • How your information is used

    Form submissions are used only to respond to your inquiry or consultation request. Analytics data is used only to understand how the site is being used in aggregate, for example which pages people read and how they found the site, so it can be improved. Neither is used for advertising, neither is sold, and neither is shared with anyone beyond the service providers described below. This site does not currently send marketing email of any kind.

  • Where your information is stored

    Form submissions are processed by Netlify, this site's hosting provider, using its built-in form-handling service, then delivered by email to The Hardy Nutritionist. Netlify's handling of that data in transit and storage is governed by Netlify's own privacy policy.

  • How long we keep it

    Submissions are kept only as long as reasonably needed to respond to you and for basic business recordkeeping, and are deleted periodically after that. You can ask to have your submission deleted sooner at any time; see "Your rights," below.

  • Health information

    This website does not collect, store, or transmit health information. Booking, intake, health history, and client communication all happen inside the secure Practice Better client portal, not on this site. Please don't send health details through this site's forms, by email, or through social media.

  • Analytics

    This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use it. It records things like which pages are viewed, how long a visit lasts, roughly which city a visit came from, the type of device and browser used, and whether you arrived from a search engine, a social link, or directly. It does not tell us who you are, and Google Analytics does not store your IP address. Advertising and cross-device personalization features are switched off, so this is used purely to see how the site is performing, not to build a profile of you or to advertise to you anywhere.

  • Third-party services this site relies on

    Google provides the analytics described above, and processes that usage data under Google's own privacy policy. Separately, this site links out to Practice Better (booking and the client portal), Square (shop checkout), Instagram, and YouTube. Each of those is operated independently, with its own privacy policy governing what happens once you're on their site; this policy doesn't cover them.

  • Cookies

    Google Analytics sets a small number of cookies so it can tell a returning visit from a new one and group page views into a single session. These are used only for the analytics described above, not for advertising. Netlify's hosting infrastructure may also set minimal, strictly technical cookies needed to serve the site securely; those aren't used to track you.

    If you'd rather not be counted, you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, use your browser's private or incognito mode, or install Google's official opt-out browser add-on, which switches Google Analytics off across every site you visit. Any of these works, and none of them affects your ability to use this site or to contact Paula.

  • Children's privacy

    This site is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from children.

  • Your rights over your information

    Since this site has no user accounts, this is simple: email TheHardyNutritionist@gmail.com at any time to ask what information you submitted, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted.

  • Changes to this policy

    This policy may be updated from time to time. The date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent version.
